About Me

imageRosemary Roman Nolan is a graduate of Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA and a Reiki Master practitioner.  She offers the following modalities in her bodywork practice: Swedish massage, deep tissue & sports massage, Reiki, and energy work incorporating crystals.  She also practices chair massage and is available for home or corporate site visits by appointment.

She believes in blending a variety of tools and modalities in her work to create a personalized treatment session focused on each client's physical and energetic needs.  Her many years as an herbalist, aromatherapist, dancer and artist lend depth to her belief in massage therapy as a profound method of healing and optimum self-care.  Coming to the profession after many years in the worlds of both holistic health care and the corporate 9-to-5, she is well versed in the stresses and repetitive injuries inflicted on us by our frantic and fast-paced culture.

Her ongoing professional development interests include Shiatsu, oncology massage, and pregnancy massage.

She is also a holistic workshop teacher and proprietress of Howe Street Handworks, a home business specializing in all-natural bodycare products and fine handcrafts.  Her workshop topics are many and varied, including classes on ethnic cuisines, vegetarian cooking, soap making, cheesemaking, garden design, herbalism, aromatherapy, mosaic art, holistic pet care, Middle Eastern dance, and energy medicine for women.

She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, where she received her B.A. in Russian Language and Literature; she is also a certified Project Manager and Six Sigma Green Belt.
